Job Description
Material Handler 2 Hours: M-Th 6:00am - 3:15pm, Fri 6:00am - 12:00pm Starting Pay: $15.50/hour To serve as a materials resource in all phases of the Parts Cage area.Responsibilities/ Principal Duties:
• Stock all incoming materials in their proper locations.
• Perform scheduled cycle counts and inventories of material.
• Pre-Kit parts for SMT scheduled assemblies.
• Count reels via x-ray machine or reel counter.
• Reconcile Parts.
• Tape and reel parts as needed via Tape & Reel machine.
• Assist people who need parts or supplies.
• Bake parts per quality department instructions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Interpersonal Skills:
• Takes responsibility for the quality of one’s individual work.
• Demonstrates accuracy and neatness in their work.
• Co-operative and dependable, highly motivated, and trustworthy.
• Respects and works effectively with fellow team members.
• Will notify Team leader if team is not following Quality processes.
• Will present new ideas and improvements to Team Leader.
Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: Two years experience in a material handling position.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements: Work is performed in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with frequent contact with others. Job requires prolonged sitting, standing and frequent bending, stooping, and stretching, and lifting of materials.
Waiver: This position may be filled by an applicant without meeting all qualifications with Ownership Group review and approval.
Equipment: Knowledge of and skills in the use of counting equipment (counting scales and reel counters) and various component prepping machines.Work Environment: Job functions will be performed in & around production, warehouse, and offices.
