Electronics Technician

Job Description
The Electronics Technician position is responsible for the production of a variety of electronic sensors and controls in our Dayton, OH location. The ideal candidate possesses a basic-level knowledge of electronics and enjoys all phases of building electronic devices. Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
- Small-batch soldering and wiring of various sensors and controls
- Solder components onto circuit boards, through-hole and SMD
- Assemble sensors and controls using hand tools and small power tools
- Perform electronic testing of sensors and controls using meters and PCs
- Label, package and ship final product
- Manage production priorities and inventory levels
- Work directly with engineering on prototypes, troubleshooting and repairs
- Provide technical support to customers over the phone and on-site visits
- Small electronics experience, 2-year electronics degree or equivalent
- Attention to fine detail and dedication to quality workmanship
- Independent worker, self-motivated and adaptable to changing priorities
- Basic proficiency with Windows computers, some Microsoft Excel is helpful
- Some AutoCAD is helpful but not required
