Job Description
- Screen applicants or recipients to determine type of public assistance being requested and refers applicant or recipient to appropriate personnel, unit or government agency and to provide or accepts documents from applicant or recipient
- Performs variety of clerical tasks including telephone service related to completion and maintenance of case records including identification of recipient and issuance of documents
- Retrieving same and entering relevant data into database and verifying and retrieving said data.
- Maintains case records, completes forms, prepares reports, types correspondence, prepares spreadsheets, prepares mailings, receives mail, completes daily activities report, arranges transportation, provides community resource information to customers.
- Receives and relays information in person or by telephone to recipients, attends conferences, training programs and workshops.
