Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator to join our 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and precision.Key Responsibilities:
We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable CNC Operator to join our 3rd shift team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and precision.Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or routers) to produce parts to exact specifications
- Load raw materials and monitor machine operations during the production run
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure accuracy
- Make machine adjustments and tool changes as needed to maintain product quality
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
- Maintain clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
- Report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors immediately
- Document production runs and complete required paperwork accurately
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of experience operating CNC machinery preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
- Basic math and mechanical skills
- Familiarity with inspection tools and quality control processes
- Ability to work independently on a fast-paced overnight shift
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
